Beauty: the qualities that give pleasure to the senses
Beautiful: delighting the senses or exciting intellectual or emotional admiration
The world has taken beauty and brought it down to something that is not too significant. Beauty is now so cheap and we're losing the essence of it's form and spirit.
Some thoughts from reading Captivating:
Beauty is the essence of God.
You can see it through nature. It's the true nature that is filled with the glory of God. It's through the flowers, mountains, gardens, waterfalls, clouds, Summer, and Spring. Beauty surrounds us and it's just primarily beautiful. "Which is to say, beauty is in and of itself a great and glorious good, something we need in large and daily doses." -- Captivating
God's creation of Eve is pure beauty, representation of all women. She's is filled with physical and spiritual beauty. Women are meant to be beautiful. [Look at the art work in the museum, filled with beautiful naked women with no shame, if it was a man it wouldn't be right, it'll take away their masculinity]. Eve is for being beautiful and she speaks through her beauty. Adam is to portray the motion of strength in action and is a warrior, representation of all men.
Read Genesis 2:
21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the Lord God took out one of the man’s ribs[d] and closed up the opening. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man. 23 “At last!” the man exclaimed. "This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’” 24 This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.25 Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame.
Beauty the way God creates it
Beauty is powerful and it matters, without it how would you get through your day. Beauty speaks - when you're stressed out, you think of the most beautiful place to mellow out like the meadows. It brings you to be able to breathe again, to find rest, to find good. Beauty speaks "All will be well." Beauty invites - you to a deeper spirit to want to know it, you want to enter, explore, and be captivated by it's beauty. It holds you and your attention. You want to spend time with it. Beauty nourishes, beauty comforts. Beauty inspires - it makes you want to be better a person and live a better life. Like Mother Teresa, she has a beautiful life in loving others, it's something higher and stronger
Beauty of a woman: her eyes, her form, her heart, her spirit, her life
We are pulled from a man's rib, pulled from him, to help complete him, to walk one with him, to be his helper, to be his supporter, we were pulled from man to be a great woman with him. We want to be beautiful, feel beautiful. We are not to be solved, we are to be enjoyed. All those beauty attributes go for the same as a woman, for God created Eve to be beautiful, for us to be beautiful, to be called to His beauty that He has created. Women need to be comfortable in her beauty to enjoy it. Unveil her, embrace her beauty. For she is magnificent because the power of God's beautiful creation over her. "You cannot simply have me, you must seek me, pursue me, I won't let you unless I know you love me."
I pray for the WOMEN to be able to feel truly beautiful because God made us to be beautiful, to be sought after, to be magnificent, to be enjoyed. To be free from all the criticisms, free from all negative, free from all insecurities. "There is a radiance hidden in your heart that the world desperately needs."And truly understand we are made the best because of God.
MEN, I pray that you, we can see women for their true beauty. Not just for their sexuality but their beautiful spirit, and the radiant light they shine over the world. And for ALL OF US to want to sought after God because He's beautiful. We need to embrace our beautiful spirits and praise God for what He has done to us. And to accept one another beauty as well.
