Love to GO

To GO:
To GO out and do God's Will. To GO out and spread the word of the Good News, share the Gospel. To GO out and spread the love, peace, and hope that God has freely given us. To GO and do miraculous things. But to think to actually GO... What comes to mind? What comes to my mind: "Lord, I want to GO, I want to do exactly what You have planned for me, but right now I need to finish my 5th year of school. Then I promise I'll surrender to You everything that I have." But I quickly realize this should NOT be my thought at all. Who am I to say, "NO GOD, I'm not ready for this YET." When will I be ready? Tomorrow, next year, 5 years? How will you ever know you're ready until you do it? How can you ever question or doubt God? He's omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, our Creator, our Lord, our Father. Why doubt? When it's trust - He'll provide, trust - He'll take care of you, trust - He knows what's best for you. You don't even know what's best for yourself sometimes.
GO NOW:
We need to go NOW, we need to do the deed NOW. Yes, we'll have time to commit in the future, but seriously the future is NOW. To put it bluntly, we don't know where we will be tomorrow, we don't know when Jesus is coming, we don't know if we'll even be alive tomorrow...
HOW will you GO?:
What will you do? How has God convicted you to do something? Globally (travel the overseas), locally (surrounding cities), with friends (w/in the church, non-Christians), co-workers, neighbors? What will you do? The first step is to find what God's calling you to do. Pray about it, each day ask "What is my mission today?" His Will for you will always be changing. So keep in constant step with the Spirit. Now what will you do next, GO of course! Talk to friends find out some ideas and for them to help encourage and support you. We'll always hear great stories from friends, great sermons, and feel the fire, I want to do something. Then you sleep on it, and it's gone or you just don't know what to do. But being filled with God all around you and the Spirit in you changes all that. You wake up having a fire to do more. You take your first step to seeking who is in need of God's hand today.

My story to encourage you:
I have to share my story to you. I do not share my feelings very often, nor do I express the thanks that is needed to know. I've been MIA to my home church for about a little over a year. Yes, I did HS Ministry, but other than that, who knew I was going to WB. But to come back "home" I can't even explain the WELCOME HOME feeling I get from my brothers and sisters. As Ylan said, we're sitting around and doing nothing. But the love, fellowship you guys have for one another and a lost sister is unbelievable. The love has lifted up my Spirit and has given me and extra boost to take the next step in life. I was scared coming back to WB especially at the end of summer, thinking no one will care or even notice. This is just the jist of it, but thank you WB for your love and support through a difficult transition in my life.

Some of us are doing a lot more than others, some of us are just living our comfortable lives. I can be upset and think "Geez, DO something, you have so much potential in life to change the world. Yet you just work, school, and nothing else." But I truly believe it's one step at a time, one person at a time, God has His time for you and a specific plan for you, and I'm not one to force it, but to be an encourager, a supporter, and live out what I need to live out, and one day you'll join me side by side. But you just being you has helped me so much this past month. You showed me love and how to live out my life again. You encouraged me and welcomed me.

This is a hard prayer to understand:
I pray that as individuals, we all lift a huge prayer up to God. If it's just starting a relationship with Him, if it's starting a fire into your heart to serve the communities and ministries, if it's to find something more to do to change the world and help people, if it's just simply asking God what His plan for you in life is, I want to help lift all these numerous prayer up to Him. I pray we continue to pray the prayer for ourselves. Don't stop praying. We need to make a difference, as Christ followers, Christ believers, Christ CHILDREN. We are not strong enough to do it alone, we are not filled with the Spirit enough to make the GO decision on our own. It's only by the power of God. Put the fruit of His Spirit into our lives, to move us forward. If we never pray, how can He answer? Lastly, a prayer for us to not be living solely on our own with our own abilities, then we get praised, but solely living life through God and His Spirit He gets praised.
Prayer Requests:
If you have any prayer requests (no prayer request is too big or small for God), please let me know. I love praying for people because it helps put me at peace, and brings joy that I can do such an act of worship.
Please pray for me as I made the decision to go to Mexico, non-medial trip, Saturday, September 18th.
Pray for my team as we GO and evangelize door to door, play with the children, spread God's love over the city. For more information about my trip and how you can go: www.rockharbormexico.com
